The medical records from the sanitarium state that she was kicked by a horse but no damage was done. The doctors there state in their records that after having her 12th child she went into a post partum depression and never recovered. "She had some incidents of mental delusion prior to the horse kick's per her husband in these repoorts. She would tell other people in the neighborhood that she was from the Royal family of England was very wealthy."
