Celia 1903 - 1985
Celia Vogelzang, 81, a longtime Hudson area resident, died Thursday in Hegg Memorial Hospital, Rock Valley, Iowa. Celia Lehman was born Feb. 27, 1903 in Sioux County, Iowa. She married Fred F. Vogelzang, Nov. 26, 1930, in Sioux City, Iowa. They farmed near Chatsworth, Iowa, and later near Hudson. In 1953 they moved into Hudson. Mr. Vogelzang died July 12, 1980. Survivors include a son, William, Washington, D.C.; a daughter, Mrs. Dennis (Mary) Gildemeister, Rock Valley; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday in Hudson Lutheran Church. Burial was in Eden Cemetery, Hudson. Rock Valley Bee 1985-02-20.
