Drew Thomas Munsinger

Drew Thomas Munsinger, age 26, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2022 in Vermillion, South Dakota.
Drew was born on November 3, 1995 to Linda Sutter and Scott Munsinger. He was born and raised in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Drew attended public school and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 2014. Following high school graduation, Drew moved to Colorado for a short period of time where he worked as a political organizer. He later returned to South Dakota and enrolled at USD in Vermillion, South Dakota.
Drew's interests and hobbies were many. He was a talented musician who enjoyed playing the guitar, writing music, and singing. He was a complex thinker interested in political analysis, philosophy, and chess; and he was a lover of the arts, especially written fiction and independent films.
Grateful for having shared his life are his mother, Linda Sutter of Sioux Falls and his father, Scott (Kelli) Munsinger of Sioux Falls; twin-brother, Connor Munsinger and step-brother, Tyler (Celesta) Frericks; nephew, Logan Frericks and niece, Rowan Frericks; grandparents, Marjorie Sutter and Lorna (Bill) Brennan; and a host of other uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Drew was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Vernon Thomas Sutter; paternal grandfather, Larry Munsinger; and his uncle, Steve Sutter.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Miller Funeral Home – Southside Chapel (7400 S Minnesota Ave, Sioux Falls, SD). A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 pm on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 also at Miller Funeral Home – Southside Chapel.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society.
