Adam Eben
January 8, 1978 - September 14, 2021
Adam James Eben, age 43, died Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Dougherty Hospice House. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 23, 2021, at First Reformed Church, Sioux Falls, SD. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 22, 2021 from 5:00-8:00 p.m., with family present 6:00- 8:00 p.m., at Heritage Funeral Home, Sioux Falls, SD.
Adam was born on January 8, 1978 in Sioux Falls, SD to Verlyn and Myra (Klarenbeek) Eben. He graduated from Canton High School in 1996. He married Nicole Hoffman on November 10, 2001. Payton was born to this union. Adam had worked in the mortgage industry for over 20 years, most recently for Heritage Bank.
Adam enjoyed cars, going to the races, softball, darts, country music, socializing with friends and family, and was a diehard Bears fan. Above all else, he loved spending time with his son, especially going to his activities and sporting events.
Adam is survived by his son, Payton; parents, Verlyn and Myra Eben; sister, Andrea Eben; grandparents, Marinus and Mildred Klarenbeek; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Martin and Myrna Eben.
Memorial may be directed to the Glioblastoma Foundation.
