Morgan Rae Adamski, 6 mos.
Morgan Rae Adamski, 6 months, passed away quietly in the arms of her mommy and daddy on Dec. 21, 2004, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls after a brave battle with a mitochondrial disease and liver failure. Memorial service for Morgan was held Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004, at Dell Rapids United Methodist Church with private family interment at the Dell Rapids Cemetery. Visitation was Wednesday, Dec.22, at George Boom Funeral Home. Morgan was born June 19, 2004, in Dell Rapids to Matt and Brandi (Olsen) Adamski. Morgan was known as "pretty princes" and she brought joy to everyone who knew her. She charmed them with her huge eyes and bright smile. In addition to her parents, Matt and Brandi; Morgan is survived by her big brothers, Brandt and Parker of Dell Rapids, her paternal grandparents, Dick and Gale Adamski of Rapids City, her maternal grandparents, Vickie and Ric Olsen of Omaha, Neb.; her maternal great grandparents, Mike and Elise Peart, Mission, Texas; and Gordon Olsen, Watertown, Wis.; two paternal great grandmothers, Donna Hoard Largo, Fla., and Hazel Adamski, Mosinee, Wis.; two uncles and their wives, Ben Adamski (Terri), Yankton, and Eric Olsen (Jen), Boone, Iowa; and one cousin Gorgon Adamski; and a host of other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be directed to "Morgan's House" at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds, 4000 West 12th Street, Sioux Falls, SD 57107.
